Description

Manage full spectrum of Human Resources Management functions such as implementing and formulating human resources policies, recruitment & selection, manpower planning, talent retention, compensation & benefits planning, employee relations management, performance appraisal, staff training and development and payroll administration. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide advice and solutions to the management team to resolve human resources issues.
  • Support Talent Management Planning.
  • Plan, coordinate and organise internal and external training programmes.
  • Help ensure compliance to company policies, governmental regulations and employment laws or regulations to limit legal exposure and liability.
  • Liaison person with the relevant government authorities e.g. EPF, SOCSO, HRDF, IRD, PTPTN, LHDN.
  • Handle employee insurance of employees, new applications, renewal and termination.
  • Source and Recruit suitable candidates for the vacancies
  • Prepare offer and confirmation letter to new and confirmed employees.
  • Keep track of employee attendance, leave, confirmation, contract renewal, remuneration changes, performance and welfare.
  • Prepare staffing report and prepare monthly payroll instruction and reconciliation.
  • Conduct induction for new staff first day and explain company policies and regulations.
  • Manage the year end evaluation process and bonus calculation
  • Establish effective reporting and communication channels to ensure that personnel are appropriately informed.
  • Plan social and recreational activities to foster team spirit and team building and improve relationship among all level of employees.
Requirements

The ideal candidate would have the following attributes:

  • a basic degree/diploma in any field
  • 10 years of work experience
  • good listening skills and a 'win-win' mindset when conducting negotiations
  • up-to-date working knowledge of Labour laws and HR practices
  • confidence in championing employees' views and perspectives
