We are looking for a news producer and presenter for the News team to cover the news affecting Malaysian markets and minds.

Responsibilities:

• Cover press conferences and generate audio segments for broadcast, or provide live coverage

• Draft news stories from wire services and online sources for on-air bulletins.

• Research news topics and call sources for comment

• Develop a roster of contacts throughout Malaysia to draw upon for interviews and background.

• Liaise with other news producers to air the most newsworthy stories and clips fit for broadcast.

Requirements:

• A university degree
• 2 years of work experience, internships in journalism will also be considered
• Ability to translate from English to Bahasa Malaysia
